Samsung, award winning purveyor of all sorts of consumer electronics has announced the release of the latest addition to its muti-coloured digital camera range, the Samsung ST60. The word on the street has it that there is a pink model will be available at launch.

Featuring a 12.2 Mega-pixel resolution sensor and a 4x optical zoom with Dual Image Stabilisation (IS)  to assists with ensuring every shot is crystal clear. (Dual Image Stabilisation works by combining an optical stabiliser with a digital one).

Several selectable modes are available; In addition to the normal automatic mode, quickly selectable modes allow shots to be taken in soft focus, vivid mode, retro-look, cool, calm, classic, sketch and lifting the fog are available, allowing shots to look like professional shots. For the artistic types amongst you, it is even possible to shoot photos as negatives and with custom colour balance settings allowing all sorts of special effects.

As well as great photos, the ST60 can record great looking videos in HD at 30 frames per second in 720p with high-quality sound.
