Our opinion of the Pink IXUS 130
The release of the Canon IXUS 130 sets a new benchmark for the next generation of cameras – 14 megapixels. With such a high resolution prints of up to A3 (297mm x 420mm) or even larger will look great.
Personally, we prefer the more subtle pastel shades of the baby-pink digital cameras to the bold bright tone of the IXUS 130 but for some it is a better colour. We assume this is why Canon have in their latest models gone for one of each.(see also the pink IXUS 105)
Technically speaking, Canon have really raised the bar, and other players in the girls pink camera market will be playing catch up over the coming months.
The price however is not for the light-hearted (or faint-hearted) – the RRP of just under £300 rules this model out for many. A comparison of this model against sub £200 models makes the difference clear.
The Pink IXUS 130 is top of the range, and rightly so looks very very good. Once it is discounted down below the £240 mark – snap one up.

Additional features such as face and motion detection and superb video mode make this one of the best pink digital cameras on the market right now, and at a price that is great value for money.

Continuing in the tradition of Canon Ixus cameras leading the way in style, the IXUS 95 IS pink digital camera also has Smart Auto Mode, utilising Scene Detection which identifies the best settings required.
With its compact design, the pink IXUS 95 easily fits into your pocket or purse, so you really can take it everywhere with you.
The 10 mega-pixel resolution means that prints can be enlarged easily up to A3 size. The only possible negative we can think of is the optical zoom – only 3x, but this is maybe only a small price to pay for it being to small.
Pink Canon IXUS 110 IS

Like its close relative, the IXUS 95 IS, the more curvaceous Canon IXUS 110 IS is really great value for money, offering a lot in a small package.
Where the pink IXUS 110 IS surpasses the 95 is by offering a 4x digital zoom for making even closer close-ups from its 12.1 mega-pixel resolution.
If you want to make movies, the 110 IS is perfect, as it’s capable of 16:9 High Definition movies (1280 x 720), and has an HDMI output for connecting directly to your HDTV.

The Canon IXUS 80 digital camera is really a great pink digital camera. It has an 8 megapixel resolution, 4x digital zoom and 3x optical zoom and is SD memory card compatible. This camera provides automatic exposure, auto flash and self timer. The focal length is 38-114mm and the ISO range is 80 to 1600. Recorded videos and images can be viewed on a 2.5″ LCD screen. Comes with a Li-ion rechargeable battery and charger.
